1. Introduction
Welcome to Air Product Reviews, a Shopify app designed to empower merchants by facilitating the collection, management, and display of customer reviews. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and Air Product Reviews, a product of Avada Group governing your use of the Service. By accessing or utilizing our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. Definitions
Air Product Reviews ("Air Reviews," "we," "us," "our"): The provider of the Service, including all affiliated entities, subsidiaries, and personnel.
Merchant ("you," "your"): The Shopify store owner, authorized representative, or any individual or entity utilizing the Service on behalf of a Shopify store.
Customer: An individual who has purchased a product or service from your Shopify store and subsequently provides a review through the Service.
Review: Feedback submitted by a Customer, encompassing text, ratings, images, videos, or other content, regarding their experience with a product or service.
Content: Any information, data, text, images, videos, or other materials submitted, transmitted, or displayed through the Service.
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined by applicable data protection laws.
3. Service Description
Air Product Reviews offers a suite of features designed to streamline the review process for Shopify merchants:
Review Collection: Automated and customizable email campaigns to solicit authentic feedback from Customers following their purchase, including options for timing, content, and branding.
Review Display: Customizable widgets and display options for seamlessly integrating reviews into your Shopify storefront, including product pages, collection pages, and dedicated review pages, enhancing product credibility and building customer trust.
Review Moderation: Robust tools for filtering and managing reviews, including the ability to flag, edit, or remove inappropriate content, as well as options for manual or automated moderation based on predefined criteria.
Fraud/Spam Detection: Advanced algorithms, machine learning models, and manual review processes to identify and mitigate fraudulent or spam reviews, ensuring the integrity of feedback by analyzing review patterns, content, user behavior, and metadata.
Analytics and Reporting: Comprehensive insights into review trends, customer sentiment, and overall review performance, including metrics such as average rating, review volume, and response rate, enabling data-driven decision-making for optimizing your products and services.
Additional Features (if applicable): The Service may offer additional features such as review response management, social media sharing, review import/export, Q&A functionality, or integrations with third-party platforms.
4. Merchant Responsibilities
By utilizing Air Product Reviews, you agree to adhere to the following responsibilities:
Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Shopify's Terms of Service while using our Service, including but not limited to data protection and privacy laws, consumer protection laws, and intellectual property laws.
Customer Data: Obtain and maintain all necessary consents from Customers for the collection, processing, and use of their personal data, as well as provide clear and transparent privacy notices informing Customers of how their data will be used. Ensure that you have a lawful basis for processing Customer data, such as consent or legitimate interest.
Review Authenticity: Encourage and facilitate the submission of honest, unbiased, and authentic reviews from Customers based on their genuine experiences. Refrain from incentivizing or coercing Customers to leave positive reviews.
Prohibited Content: Refrain from submitting or allowing the publication of reviews containing unlawful, harmful, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content, including but not limited to hate speech, personal attacks, threats, obscenity, or sexually explicit material.
5. Fraud and Spam Prevention
We are committed to fostering a transparent and trustworthy review environment. To achieve this, we employ a comprehensive strategy for detecting and addressing fraudulent or spam reviews:
Automated Filtering: We utilize sophisticated algorithms and machine learning models to analyze review patterns, content, user behavior, and metadata to identify suspicious activity, such as duplicate reviews, unusual rating distributions, reviews originating from suspicious IP addresses, or reviews exhibiting signs of automation or manipulation.

Consequences: Verified fraudulent or spam reviews will be removed from the platform. Accounts associated with repeated or egregious violations may be subject to suspension, termination, or other appropriate action.
6. Intellectual Property
Air Product Reviews retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all associated intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights in our intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.
